Marketing Optimization Manager - Shanghai

At a multinational personal care company - digital marketing department

Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver day to day analytics on key campaigns and key media platforms always-on investment. Timely bring in diagnosis and suggestions with clarity and agility
  •  Together with Marketing Competitive Intelligence manager, navigate brands on annual marketing investment strategy development
  •  Conduct short-term and long-term media review and optimization. Together with media team, develop annual media strategy and key media partner strategy
  •  Fully leverage corporate first party DMP and key media platform data capabilities to drive audience asset operation. Constantly drive audiences from upper funnel to lower funnels, generate hypothesis with solid rational and design AB testing, proof of concept together with Media team.
  • Build analytics partnership with key brand stakeholders, understand their business, marketing and creative strategy.
Requirement
  • Ability to work independently and influence others by articulating complex findings in an understandable way for internal stakeholders.
  • Leads development of insight logic and narrative for reporting materials
  • Self-driven, entrepreneurial individual with proven expertise in adapting to changing digital landscape
  • Comfortable with less clearly defined, qualitative aspects as well as with rigorous quantitative areas
  • Being flexible, adaptable and comfortable with change.
  • Ability to multi-task among several stakeholders and deadlines
  • Gain team’s trust as a valued marketing and analytics expert.

Qualification, Education, Experiences etc.

  • Minimum 8+ year experience in the combination of marketing science & engineering, digital analytics, regression analysis, segmentation, A/B and multivariate testing, predictive modeling, brand measurement, media performance analysis, either in top marketing agencies serving for brands or inhouse digital analytics with advanced marketing approach.
  • Experiences working with integrated/multi-channel campaign planning team
  • Knowledgeable about latest forms of user behavior tracking, social listening and key media data capabilities, such as Databank, Douyin Yuntun, Tencent Youshu, JD Shufan
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin. Exceptional written, oral communication skills.
  • Facility to work efficiently in complex matrix organization.

  • Educational background in quantitative field. Master’s degree preferred.
